[DDG18] Problems with SPAM from the DDG-18 list

Shipmates,

I discovered that my ISP has been protecting me from the bad spam that has been sent through the DDG-18 list.  While this was good for me, it did not alert me to the problem that was going on over our list.

I have removed those names from the list tonight that have been the source of the spam going through the list.  While it is little comfort to most of you, the list server has actually prevented hundreds of other emails from being transmitted.

The actual number that did make it through was rather small.  I am grateful for my ISP being proactive, but in this case it did not alert me to the issue we were having.

I believe all the past exposure we had is now removed, but of course it is only a matter of time before someone elses email address is hijacked by the spamers and it starts all over again.
