There are so many pictures of the memorable liberty in Santo Domingo because
of the shortage of American Currency. Warren Basford and I were so broke that
we wound up trading personal effects (camera, cigarettes etc) for rum and
the pleasure of some young ladies? company. I didn't want to lose the
pictures on the roll so I shot everything in site just to use them up.
